Student Council Executive Meeting this THURSDAY at lunch in room 108 (Lower lever/art room). Le me know if you can't make it!
On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 24th,intermediate students at Adams Road are participating in a Rugged Canadian event (similar to "Tough Mudder"). They will have multiple stations and are looking for high school volunteers to come and help set up and run the stations.
All of the materials will be provided and an Adams Road teacher who is familiar with the station will provide directions and be there for the first station (the teachers then rotate with the groups). There will also be parent volunteers helping to support Salish student volunteers. There will always be a teacher with the groups that are rotating, so really the volunteers just need to explain the station and make sure it gets set back up for the next group. We would also love if they could stay and help clean up the stations at the end. They are hoping for about 20-30 volunteers, and you would be excused from classes so that you could be there from 11:30-2:30. This means leaving at lunch, walking down there, and being there for the afternoon. You would need to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty – you may need to demonstrate or at least get in the mud a bit to set up. See Ms Young is you are interested and she will give you a permission form for your parents and teachers. Chair/Co-Chair

As we had no applications for Grade 9 rep, a few students have put their names forward. We will be doing an election for Grade 9 Rep at the next meeting.
